weSRCH.com is for professionals and designed by professionals to be an open communications and information platform for staying up to date in your field. It's a place for you to raise the visibility of your career and thus your pay in today's competitive job market. It allows you to network with other scientists, doctors, engineers, and colleagues in your field. It does this by applying all the technical capability of Web 2.0. Some call this social networking. Some call it Science 2.0. We prefer to call it professional networking and that is our goal.
Doing that means we must accomplish many things: First, weSRCH is a global conference that runs 24/7. Unlike a conference, you don’t have physically be there to attend. You can attend when you want. It doesn’t replace real world conferences. It supplements them, allowing you focus on your precious time on the most important conferences.
weSRCH is also a trade journal that keeps you up to date with news, trends, and events. Unlike a trade journal, you get to talk back and air your views.
Our approach with weSRCH is unique. We are not web programmers or freshly minted MBAs looking to make a fast buck. We are researchers ourselves who have developed extensive database and web technology to solve our problems. One day we realized that our problems were yours: that we needed a more organized web where we could and that is what really got weSRCH going.
