4- Month Baby Food Recipes

Puree carrot recipe: this is an appropriate food recipe for 4-month baby. We suggest you feed carrots to your baby as it contains abundant vitamins. Your baby wants to feed again and again.

Normally, at this age baby is fed by mother milk, as it has all nutrition which gives your baby ample nourishment. Mother milk is an appropriate food for a baby as it can be easily digested. At this age, the digestion system does not accept solid food. So it would be better to feed semi-liquid foods.

Age duration- 4 to 6 months

Continue feeding mother milk. Apart from that, you can feed pure vegetables such as boiled vegetables and juice. Serve a baby with boiled potatoes. Feed them fruits which are grown in an organic farm. Fruits are healthy for your little baby. Apples, bananas, and orange are beneficial. Start feeding them pure meat that has abundant nutrition. Feed cereal in the form of liquid. This is the perfect baby food by age.

Age duration- 6 to 8 months

Feed mother milk as usual. Give your baby cutting fruits such as apples, avocado, pears, and bananas. Also, serve them fruits juice. Give them a carrot that contains lots of proteins. Also, provide them with meat as we have mentioned above. You can also feed them tofu. Tofu has lots of nutrition which can nurture your baby well. Legumes can also be given to them such as chickpeas, fava beans, lentils, black-eyed peas. This can be healthy baby foods by age.

Apart from breast milk, you should start feeding your baby a small amount of cereal. Cereal should be given first priority for your baby healthy growth at an early age as it is full of iron. At this age, your baby needs iron. As a parent, you have to be careful with the foods which are not appropriate for your baby. Don’t give honey to your baby as it can be fatal for your baby. Give honey when a baby turns to 12 months. Keep a baby away from cow’s milk at this age. It can cause bleeding into their stool. They may not be able to digest.

Age Duration- 8 to 10 months

Parents have to be cautious with baby foods by age. During this age, foods will be similar to 6 to 8 months. As we mentioned above cottage cheese, curd, pasteurized cheese should be fed to your baby on a regular basis. Moreover, crushed vegetables such as well-cooked carrots, juice, normal potatoes, and sweet potatoes should be served to your little baby. The same way, crush the fruits like bananas, pears, avocado, and peaches. A small number of fried eggs and cereal can be fed. Try to feed well-cooked pasta, potatoes, teething crackers, and bagel. For protein, you can give small pieces of meat, boneless fish, different types of beans such as lentils, pintos, black beans, etc. you can also recommend tofu.

Age duration- 10 to 12 months

Offer infant soft vegetables such as cooked carrots, peas, and green beans. You can also feed them crushed fruits. It would be better to make liquid of those fruits. Mashed potatoes and yams are easily eaten by your baby. Once your baby is able to digest foods properly feed them with scrambled eggs, ground meats, fish, etc. Orange juice can also be introduced at this age.
