Semiconductor company SaRonix-eCERA adopts Ares HCP for first management information system

SaRonix-eCERA Corporation, a Taiwan-based quartz crystal and oscillator company under the US-based IC design house Pericom Semiconductor Corporation, has decided to adopt the HCP (Human Capital Planner) of Ares International Corp. for its plant in Shandong Province, China.

Established in 2008, the Shandong-based subsidiary of SaRonix-eCERA will see its first enterprise management system provided by Ares HCP.

Ever since its establishment, SaRonix-eCERA has placed human resources as its top priority; therefore, an HR system has become the top priority. The company expects the subsidiary to establish a complete enterprise application system procedure via the HR system before its factory starts test run. The subsidiary has finally selected Ares for its HR supplier after strict evaluation and reviewing various potential suppliers. The following goals are to be achieved:

  1. Establish the best practice for the subsidiary via Ares HCP to improve competitiveness
  2. A safe, stable and accurate salary system. All monetary content is finished by the system, which will enable the company to have effective control over group labor costs.
  3. E-operations for leaves and extra working hours. Offer employee self-help service system
  4. The system can obtain management reports on time and will introduce BIS system for KPI analysis in the future.
  5. Cross-Taiwan Strait synchronic system for centralized and transparent management

Pericom is based in Silicon Valley and its stocks are listed on Nasdaq. Its crystal oscillator ranks among the top ten of the world. The company has R&D centers in Hong Kong and the US with offices in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. The semiconductor company plans to establish ten quartz crystal oscillator lines for its first-stage production and developing advanced crystal oscillator module products via integration of integrated circuit and crystal. Within five years, Pericom plans to finish adding 30 lines and realize annual sales of more than US$100 million.
