Description: In the age of digital imaging systems the relative importance of methods of image quality assessment and improvement has significantly risen. A particular area of quality research is color representation of devices for visual information. During the last several years the production of computer LCD monitors has enormous growth. Although not critical for everyday usage, the quality of color reproduction is important for mid-professionals and professionals, working with image processing systems.
