  1980      Nov 30, -0001
VLSIresearch says Inventories of Integrated Circuits are close to passing the peak set in October of 2008. The problem is that shortages of semiconductor production equipment have created a capacity crunch. Currently, VLSI's Spot Market Chip Price Performance Index is breaking Moore’s Law. End demand remains strong. VLSI’s Electronics Sales Activity Index ended last week up +>100% over a year ago. IC sales have risen steadily in each week this month.
