  2068      Nov 30, -0001
A preliminary estimate of what happened to the competition in highly contested semiconductor market: memories. This issue looks at flash memory NAND and NOR. Only Samsung, Toshiba, Spansion, and IMFT look to have gained share. If you are an Electronics OEM, expect memory prices to be on the upswing in 2009. The market is consolidated enough to control production and all lost money at current prices. So prices have to give. For investor’s this could be a stalking ground for some hot buys.
