2014 played out pretty much as VLSIresearch analyst Andrea Lati predicted for the semiconductor and semiconductor equipment markets. With the exception of electronics, everything came in within a couple of percentage points of VLSI's forecast. Even wafer fab capacity utilization. The surprises where how differently the market drivers -- PCs, mobile, smartphones, tablets and IT played out. Now he's back to discuss what happened in 2014 give a new forecast for 2015 and reveals the market trends VLSI sees unfolding in 2015.He's conservatively bullish for semiconductors and equipment.
