Summary

Knowing the difference is one of the most important metrics of an effective sales force. Most salespeople just offer for sale, entering your order on the computer and printing out an invoice so they can claim their commission. At Wal-Mart they are definitely just offering for sale. But when you walk into a high-end store they are selling. The difference is subtle, but it can make all the difference in the world to your profits.
