2Q16 Semiconductor Review and Forecast

An upturn is brewing in the semiconductor industry. The bottom of the downturn was hit early in the second quarter of 2016, as we promised in the last quarterly review. Then in July, VLSIresearch announced that an upturn was underway. There are plenty of factors driving this, which will be discussed in this video with Andrea Lati and G. Dan Hutcheson. They are back to give their quarterly review of how semiconductor supply chain markets performed in the last quarter, how it’s performing in the current quarter, as well as update you on their thinking how it will play out going forward.  They cover Semiconductors, Chip Manufacturing Equipment, Materials and Electronics markets and talk about the signs leading them to make the call that a recovery is underway.
