Hydrokinetic Energy from the Ocean

 Pete Nigrelli
Description: Ocean energy is one of the largest unexplored potential energy sources. Oceans contain huge amount of kinetic energy but cost efficient energy conversion devices are still in the early stages. There is more energy in deeper water, as waves reach the shallower water near coasts, they begin to lose energy through friction with the seabed and eventually break on the shore.
