Generation III Solar Cells

 CIS:SEM
  27th-Apr-2010
Description: “Generation III” Solar Cells: What are they? How do they work? What are the challenges to their optimization? Some perspective on the problem(s) of “scalable” PV technologies is discussed. “Any alternative energy technology that is supposed to address the problem of energy sufficiency and security, climate change, etc. must be: a) Simple b) Easily scalable (“area-scalable”) c) Inexpensive Most alternative energy technologies today are none of these.”
