CSP Perspective: Parabolic Trough will remain most important technology near term. Solar Tower will have an increasing market share in the midterm. higher concentration allows higher operating temperatures. Cost Reduction of CSP plants - Reduce component costs: mass production, new technologies, increased competition Up-scaling of plant capacity Lower risk addition for credits: proven technology.
