Summary

Crystal Screen Stars: Jeannine Sargent, of Oerlikon, continued to be the star of the LCD screen with 1157 viewers watching her talk on the future of solar. That's on top of 1596 people that watched her program last month. So, almost 3000 people from around the world have heard Jeannine Sargent's solar message. You could never beat that exposure at a conference. As for video downloads, they hit a total of 5,346 viewings for May. That’s around 13 hundred hours. Podcast downloads hit a record 10,582 in May. It's the first time they have ever been above 10K and equates to almost 3000 hours of listening. VLSI’s weekly Know Knew Knews program is bringing in around 1K listeners each week. The blockbuster was weSRCH, with page views jumping to 2,721,514. To put this number in perspective, it is one million more than the monthly rate EE Times claims at their site. Just in case you’re wondering, page views in weSRCH’s electronics domain alone is larger than EE Times. Total hits were 5.6M, which is more that 10X that of VLSIResearch.com. weSRCH is still running at 85K users, so the HPW rate (hits-per-user) rose to 66. So you’re in marketing? What would your management do if they found out you had passed up an opportunity to gain millions of impressions – many with the top managements of your customers – for free? Shouldn’t you be posting your releases and white papers at weSRCH.com?
