White roses are undoubtedly the ultimate symbol of spirituality, purity, and innocence. At a funeral, the classic deep red rose describes love and grief. A yellow rose is often offered by friends to show their bond. The dark pink roses are used to express thankfulness to the dead ones.

Orchid plant:

No matter of what color, orchids have a universal meaning: “I will always love you.” Orchids are sent during times of grief to convey everlasting love because they will continue to bloom long after other bouquets have wilted. Pink and white are traditional colors of sympathy.

Sending a Hydrangea plant is a nice and appropriate gesture to give to a grieving family. The hydrangea represents a gift of thanks in repayment for understanding and is given as a gesture of heartfelt sincerity.

Daffodils and Tulips:

Bright yellow spring tulips and daffodils are a symbol of fresh starts.
