Some snakes use their venom to hunt prey. They bite and release their venom to control preys. Even after putting too many efforts, if they fail they will wrap their body around the prey and they continue until their prey feels suffocations and die.

They also live in marshland, forests, and bushes. You can also find them in the house yard or in the garden. They have various colors such as brown, black, green, dark brown and olive green. Some garter snakes are black and some have black spots on their body. What do snakes eat? They normally eat small insects such as earthworms, salamanders, and toads. They also prefer small mammals such as mice or voles. The Garter snakes which live near the water their favorite foods are crayfish, frogs, and other fish. New born baby Garter snake eats earthworms, crickets, mealworms, and other small insects.

What do snakes eat? There is another spice named Corn snakes. This is also known as the red rat snake. They are mostly found in the Southern United States. They mostly remain active in the night. They are able to climb up a tree quickly as compared to other snakes. They hunt by constricting. They like to live in cornfields this is the reason why they are called corn snakes. The corn snakes like to eat rats, chicken snakes, and other small birds.
