Description: CMC Mission: To develop and mature technologies and infrastructure relevant to cell manufacturing; to facilitate regulation, commercialization, and adoption of emerging technologies by the cell manufacturing industry; and to build and train a skilled industry workforce. CMC: The Deliverables- Create a national consortium for stakeholders involved in cell manufacturing: the first of its kind in the US -> Stem Cells AND Immunotherapies, Bring industry, academia and government agencies together to identify (a) barriers impeding progress of cell manufacturing technologies, and (b) future research directions, Write THE roadmap for technological innovations involving stakeholders of the entire cell manufacturing value chain, Help accelerate the translation of cell and cell-derived products to the healthcare market.
