Dr. Jack Horner, “The Dinosaur Guy,” is famous for his work in paleontology. His discovery of the Maiasaura provided the first real evidence that dinosaurs cared for their young. But he’s probably more famous for his work as the advisor to the Jurassic Park series. In this recording of his keynote speech at the Peaks conference, Dr. Horner discussed the technology and results in analyzing the DNA of T-Rex. He then delves into the different ways to recreate dinosaurs, showing why getting blood from a mosquito frozen in amber probably wouldn’t work. But they did discover real T-Rex DNA, for which he covers the results to date . . .
