Why Humans Are Not Just Great Apes

 Robin Dunbar
  22nd-Dec-2009
Description: So what makes humans so different? Humans differ only marginally from other great apes in anatomy, genetics, ecology and everyday behavior. Only substantive differences are in the “world of imagination”: religion and story telling, we do it, why don’t they? Tinbergen’s “four whys”, Darwinian theory, and the social brain hypothesis are discussed.
