Description: Dignity conserving care: commitment to the affirmation of life, an integration of psychological and spiritual aspects of patient care, the provision of support to help patients live as actively as possible until their death, with support being provided to help families cope during their loved ones illnesses and into their own bereavement. Dying is demanding on patient, family members, and health care professionals feeling of inadequacy.
