President Obama promised health-care coverage for all Americans and cost containment in his first year. After a hundred days, little has been done other than the stimulus package’s $19B for health IT, which will do little to deliver either promise. So I thought it was worth penning this note about the cold hard reasons why you shouldn’t expect reform to happen anytime in the foreseeable future and if it does how it will happen.
