This series started with a focus on inefficiency, to which a colleague suggested that the problem could be solved by going after the lawyers & Defensive Medicine. Now we all hate all lawyers, except our own. It may be because we believe the rumors that it was the lawyers who cheered the shark on in dark movie theaters when Jaws was first screened. But letís look at the data and assess the cost of Defensive Medicine(hint, the lawyers lose).
