Semiconductor Analytics for the week ending 18 March IC Sales ASP’s jumped off the Sendai earthquake news, while unit shipments held strong. Soaring demand from supply chain hoarding helped drive IC billings up. Electronics Sales Activity was also strong for Asia, North America, Computer, and Consumer. Pricing Trends showed rises in Mobile, Laptops & Consumer. Meanwhile, Tablet prices continued to drop as Apple’s iPad 2 sent competitive devices on sale.
